Megan was born in Upper Michigan – where the average snowfall per season is over 250 inches (with record snowfall about 400 inches!!!) Although she is proud to be a Yooper with Finnish-American roots, after high school she moved to Boston, MA and graduated from Boston University. She now resides with her husband and three children in the Boston area. Karla was also born a “Yooper” along with 8 other siblings. Growing up with many hand-me-downs, at the age of 8 she joined 4-H, where she developed a passion for sewing. She continued to live and work in the UP while sewing in her spare time. She has a passion for creating, an eye for fashion, and particularly loves working with fleece.
